By accessing, browsing, registering an account, purchasing, or downloading digital assets on JewelMonks ("the Platform"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

The Platform is exclusively designed for professional jewelry retail stores, independent goldsmiths, casting houses, jewelry manufacturers, and verified 3D CAD designers ("Users"). You must be at least 18 years of age and possess the legal authority to bind your organization or business entity to these terms.

Users may register under one or both of the primary ecosystem roles supported by JewelMonks:

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and are solely accountable for all activities conducted under your registered account.

All 3D CAD files (including .STL, .3DM, .OBJ, and .GLB formats) purchased and downloaded through JewelMonks include a Worldwide Commercial Production License subject to the following explicit terms:

When a merchant posts a custom CAD brief through the JewelMonks Jobs platform:

• Brief Specifications: The merchant provides reference images, stone dimensions, metal purity targets, and deadlines. The agreed quote constitutes a binding scope of work between merchant and designer.
• Milestones & Approvals: Custom jobs proceed through milestone stages (Initial Concept Review → Geometry & Seat Check → Final Production Files). Merchants have up to 3 business days to review deliverables before milestone auto-approval.
• Bespoke Ownership: Once final milestone payment is completed, 100% of the intellectual property rights and manufacturing rights to the bespoke CAD files are transferred to the commissioning merchant, unless explicitly agreed otherwise.

CAD Designers uploading designs to the JewelMonks catalog warrant that:

• All uploaded geometry is their own original creation or properly licensed, free from any third-party copyright, design patent, or trademark infringement.
• Models meet real-world jewelry manufacturing standards, including accurate stone seats, castable wall thicknesses, and manifold mesh integrity.
• Designers receive clear payouts on every catalog sale according to published platform commission rates. Payouts are remitted on a transparent schedule via verified bank or electronic transfer.

The JewelMonks real-time 3D WebGL viewer enables interactive inspection and client presentations without exposing raw production files.

Users agree not to attempt to extract, scrape, reverse-engineer, or decompile 3D meshes, GLB buffers, or proprietary shader source code from the WebGL context. Password-gated links and domain whitelisting are protected features; sharing unauthorized bypasses or tampering with viewer access controls will result in immediate account termination.

The JewelMonks Quotation Calculator utilizes standardized volumetric density formulas (e.g., 14K Gold ~13.0g/cm³, 18K Gold ~15.5g/cm³, Platinum 950 ~21.4g/cm³) to calculate estimated metal weights.

Actual cast piece weights will vary depending on sprue design, polishing, shrinkage, casting house alloy mixtures, and bench jewelers' finishing. JewelMonks provides these tools as informational aids; merchants are responsible for verifying final bench weights and current precious metal spot market rates.

Due to the non-tangible, irrevocable nature of digital CAD asset downloads, all catalog purchases are final once downloaded.

If a downloaded file exhibits provable geometric defects (such as non-manifold edges rendering the piece unprintable), JewelMonks will coordinate with the creator to furnish a corrected file within 48 hours. If the defect cannot be resolved, a platform credit or full refund will be granted. Custom jobs are protected by our milestone escrow policy.

JewelMonks respects the intellectual property rights of jewelry designers and houses. If you believe any content on the Platform infringes upon your copyright or trademark, please submit a formal notice to our Designated Copyright Agent at dmca@jewelmonks.com with:

• Identification of the copyrighted jewelry work claimed to have been infringed.
• Specific URL or catalog identifier of the infringing model on JewelMonks.
• Your contact details and a statement made under penalty of perjury.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JewelMonks and its officers, directors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages, including lost profits, loss of metal, defective casting runs, or downtime resulting from the use of downloaded CAD files or 3D viewer services.
